Customer events

I got asked over the past few days about how to handle customer events in our point of sale software. An event might be a birthday, anniversary or even a non-event e.g. they have not shown up in the shop for a long time. Here I will discuss one such event when a customer purchases an item such a bag of dog food or a box of reflex paper. You know that after a short period, this bag of dog food will be used up and they will need to buy another one. So what you do is put in the system an automatic reminder that will notify the customer at the appropriate time "Hey you need a bag of dog food, remember us!!!!!"

You will find it in the customer section, right at the bottom "product reminder" section. It is worth going through it as you will see it has lots of options.
