One point that did strike me when I was in Vietnam was if you are not that concerned with looks a highly functional newsstand can be cheaply put together. It reminded me of when I was a kid and we used to put upon the ground in a busy thoroughfare a few newspapers and magazines and sell them to the passing people. It worked well.
