I have been going though a client's data. What I can see while entering the dates, they have been inconsistent.
You should not use
08/08 for some entries and
08 AUG for another lot.
Always try to follow the same. What I suggest if the number is first it should refers to the day if the number is last it refers to year.
So for the 8th of August use
08 AUG
While
AUG 08 - would mean August 2008
