PosBrowser stores a lot of information to function. Some of this data is needed long term, and some of it loses it’s relevance or does not need to be kept.

The data that is no longer needed or that could be reduced stays in your database taking up space, increasing your backup size, increasing time to copy data to training and may affect system performance.

Data Maintenance is designed to remove and condense this redundant data. Attached to this Tip is a document detailing how to set up Data Maintenance. As with many features of PosBrowser, this can be set up to run automatically, and keep your data in great shape without you having to remember to do it!
